NEW YORK, January 25. /TASS/. More than 12,000 flights have been canceled in the United States over this weekend due to the snowstorm, FlightAware web portal reports.

Passengers of 3,832 flights faced cancellations on Saturday. Also, 8.431 flights scheduled for Sunday were annulled.

At least eleven states announced the state of emergency due to the threat of extreme cold and abundant snowfalls, ABC News television reported earlier.
