Russian national detained in India’s Goa over suspicion of drug possession

According to the report, the suspect works as a DJ in a club in northern Goa

NEW DELHI, November 8. /TASS/. The Goa police arrested a Russian national over suspicion of possession of drugs and alcohol worth over $18,900, the Deccan Herald newspaper reported.

According to the report, the suspect is female Russian national named Alla Rusayeva; she works as a DJ in a club in northern Goa. Marijuana, ecstasy drug and alcoholic beverages were found during a search in her apartment. An investigation has been initiated.

TASS has contacted the Russian consulate general over the report.
