Over 6,400 fakes and illegal calls related to situation in Ukraine spotted in Instagram

More than 6,400 fakes and illegal calls have been posted in Instagram following the launch of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s mass media and telecommunications watchdog (Roskomnadzor) said in a document read out on Monday at a Moscow court during hearings of the case on banning Meta Platforms’ activities in Russia

"Roskomnadzor has exposed more than 4,600 fakes about the actions of Russian armed forces in Ukraine during the special military operation in Ukraine and more than 1,800 calls for taking part in unauthorized rallies," Judge Olga Solopova read out.
