BELGOROD, March 17. /TASS/. Ukrainian drones attacked the town of Korocha in Russia’s Belgorod Region. As a result of the attack, five people were injured, four of them minors, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
"The town of Korocha was attacked by two Ukrainian UAVs. Five people were injured, including four minors," he said.
The governor specified that when a UAV detonated near a social facility, an 18-year-old young man sustained facial abrasions, a 16-year-old girl suffered an arm wound and abrasions to her legs, and another girl sustained a foot injury. In addition, two 16-year-old boys sustained soft tissue abrasions to the head and back. Medical teams provided assistance to the injured at the scene; they declined hospitalization.
"Windows were shattered, and the facade of the social facility was damaged by shrapnel. In addition, windows were blown out in three apartments across two multi-apartment residential buildings and in two private homes. Shrapnel also damaged six passenger cars," the governor added.
As a result of the strike by a second drone, the roof, facade, and glazing of a commercial property were damaged. Information on the consequences of the attack is being clarified, with operational services working at the scene.
