Eurasia’s interstate associations may become single space — senior Russian diplomat

According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin, this space of prosperity and development should be based on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation, respect and balance of interests

YEKATERINBURG, April 22. /TASS/. The association of Eurasian states can become a single space of economic prosperity, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said in an address to the participants of the 15th Eurasian Youth Forum.

"The motto of the event, 'Eurasian Synergy: Multipolarity, Integration, Civilizational Dialogue' is highly relevant today," the senior diplomat pointed out. "Taking into account the realities of the multipolar world, it is only through dialogue and joint potential of states and interstate associations on the Eurasian continent that we can transform our common home into a single economic space of prosperity and development based on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation, respect and balance of interests," Pankin emphasized.

The deputy foreign minister also wished the forum participants fruitful work and successes.

The 15th Eurasian Youth Forum is taking place in Yekaterinburg on April 21-25. The event’s agenda include meetings of students with diplomats, as well as expert lectures on law, IT, economy and entrepreneurship.
