MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. The Kremlin has no information about the potential return of Boeing to the Russian market, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated at a briefing.
"We do not have such details and have not seen a single statement from a Boeing representative about this anywhere. Therefore, any speculations about it are hardly appropriate," he said.
Earlier, the Life News publication reported citing sources that Boeing was planning to return to the Russian market, first by allowing the repair and purchase of used aircraft, and then by permitting the company’s full operation in Russia.
European sanctions imposed in February 2022 banned servicing of Russian-owned aircraft, including Boeing, and recalled all aircraft leased from European companies. US sanctions have banned servicing of Russian-owned aircraft, causing issues with their use.
