Ukraine attempts to attack downtown Donetsk by long-range missiles

Preliminary information suggests that a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher was used for the attack

DONETSK, December 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces attempted to launch a major attack on the downtown of the capital city of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), with at least five missiles intercepted, a source in the emergency services told TASS.

"They tried to carry out a significant attack using long-range missiles, with at least five of them being intercepted by air defense systems. The debris of another missile fell in a residential area in the downtown," the source said.

Preliminary information suggests that a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher was used for the attack.
