Russia, Brazil to identify key areas for nuclear cooperation by end of next year

The parties prepared a list of measures to be taken in order to determine main areas of cooperation

BUENOS AIRES, December 5. /TASS/. Russia and Brazil will have a concrete plan for cooperation in the nuclear sphere by the end of 2025, the Russian Embassy in Brazil said on its Telegram channel.

Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy Alexandre Silveira has already met with a delegation from Russian nuclear corporation Rosatom. "We rely on Rosatom's expertise to achieve positive and balanced cooperation between Brazilian and Russian companies. Let our common goal enable supporting reliable and safe technology growth," the minister said.

The parties prepared a list of measures to be taken in order to determine main areas of cooperation. The working group that will be established is expected to reach a final agreement on the energy partnership by the end of 2025.
