LIMA, November 14. /TASS/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk will hold a bilateral meeting with President of Peru's Council of Ministers Gustavo Adriansen as part of his visit to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit held in Lima on November 13-17.
Overchuk will likely hold other bilateral meetings during the event, possibly with US representatives. "We confirmed a meeting with the Prime Minister of Peru. The sides are set to meet at 10 a.m. local time [6 p.m. Moscow time]. Then we will see," the deputy prime minister told TASS about his plans for bilateral meetings on the margins of the summit.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the traditional trade and economic ties between Russia and Peru. "This will be one of our discussion topics," Overchuk said. "The traditional trade is now in slight decline, and, of course, it is a subject of our concerns and discussions. All partners are important to us, and we are working to build equal relations with all of them."
