Special economic zone to cover regions affected by shelling

According to preliminary estimates, about 300 affected companies will receive support

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. The Russian government supported at the meeting on Friday a draft law extending the special economic zone in effect in Donbass and Novorossiya to borderline regions, the press service of the Ministry of Economic development said.

"As Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said, benefits from the special economic zone in Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk Regions will help plants to not merely recover but also to implement investment plans. Preferential conditions are planned to be established this summer," the ministry noted.

According to preliminary estimates, about 300 affected companies will receive support, it added.
