Fierce fighting underway near Artyomovsk railway station — Wagner founder

Overnight to April 3, Yevgeny Prigozhin said that a Russian flag had been hoisted on the building of the Artyomovsk city administration and the city had come under the control of Russian forces

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. Russian and Ukrainian troops are engaged in fierce fighting near the railway station of Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut in Ukraine), Wagner PMC founder Yevgeny Prigozhin said on Friday.

"As for the railway station, indeed, Wagner PMC units are fighting a fierce battle there," Prigozhin’s press service quoted him as saying on its Telegram channel.

Overnight to April 3, Prigozhin said that a Russian flag had been hoisted on the building of the Artyomovsk city administration and the city had come under the control of Russian forces.
