The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation called the Union State of Russia and Belarus a modern form of integration

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. The Union State of Russia and Belarus is a modern form of integration rather than an attempt to revive the Soviet Union, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Izvestia.

According to Peskov, the Union State is the most advanced and rapidly growing form of integration in the post-Soviet space. "But it is in no way designed to revive the Soviet Union," he emphasized.
