PMC Wagner’s founder says no signs for now Artyomovsk "can be taken tomorrow"

According to Yevgeny Prigozhin, "heavy fighting is in progress in the north of the city and there are no prerequisites for encircling the enemy in the northern districts"

MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. The situation in Artyomovsk (Ukrainian name - Bakhmut) is not such that Russian forces can "take it tomorrow," because the Ukrainian army brings in new reserves, the founder of PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has said.

"Bakhmut will not be taken tomorrow, because there is very strong resistance," Prigozhin was quoted as saying on the Telegram channel of his press service on Tuesday.

He explained that "in all directions, the enemy is becoming more active and bringing in ever more reserves. Every day from 300 to 500 new troops approach Bakhmut in all directions. Artillery fire intensifies every day."

According to Prigozhin, "heavy fighting is in progress in the north of the city and there are no prerequisites for encircling the enemy in the northern districts."

"House after house and square meter after square meter has to be stormed. Very hard combat work is going on," he stressed.
