Russian forces advancing on Ugledar from south, southwest, west — DPR head

DONETSK, February 4. /TASS/. Russian forces are advancing on Ugledar from the south, southwest and west, but the process has slowed down due to the deployment of Ukrainian reinforcements to the city, Denis Pushilin, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, said on Saturday.

"The dacha settlements around Ugledar from the south, southwest and even from the west are under our control. Our units continue to accelerate the liberation of the city of Ugledar. All this is rather thorny, as the enemy has redeployed a brigade of marines, which reinforced the remaining units there, but these reserves have already been redeployed in response. We will definitely handle it, but in terms of time it took a little longer," he said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
