Head of Wagner company says he’s aware CIA, Zelensky discussed assassinating him

MOSCOW, January 24. /TASS/. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the private military company Wagner, on Tuesday said he’s aware of reports that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and CIA Director William Burns discussed assassinating him.

"Yes, I’m aware. The press service told me about it. That’s a very good idea. I agree that it’s time Prigozhin were eradicated. In the event they ask me, I will definitely provide assistance," Prigozhin was quoted as saying by his press service in a Telegram post.

Earlier on Tuesday, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia civil society group, told TASS that Zelensky and Burns discussed the idea of assassinating Prigozhin when the US official visited Kiev last week.
