MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), and the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions were included in the list of Russian entities in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, according to the official portal of legal information.
The four new Russian regions were included in the list in Article 65 of the Constitution’s third chapter on the federal structure. The names of the new entities, the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic, the Zaporozhye Region and the Kherson Region, are given in accordance with federal constitutional laws on the accession of these territories to Russia which Russian President Vladimir Putin signed on October 5.
