TULA, December 25. /TASS/. The staff of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies evacuated 510 people due to the fire outbreak at the Haval plant in the Tula Region.

Cardboard boxes caught fire at the plant, the press service of the Ministry’s main department for the region said. The firefighting shift received the fire message at about 06:00 p.m. Moscow time (03:00 p.m. GMT).

"Owing to concerted and professional action of rescuers of the Russian Ministry of Emergencies, the fire outbreak of cardboard boxes in a room in one of shops was promptly extinguished. Nobody was injured. 510 people were evacuated," the press service said.

The situation is under control and there is no safety threat," the press service of Haval Motor Rus told TASS.
