MOSCOW, March 23. /TASS/. The evacuation of victims of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall from the scene of the emergency has been completed.

According to TASS correspondent, ambulances transported the wounded to medical facilities. The air ambulance helicopters involved in transporting the victims returned to the base.

In total, more than 60 people were killed and 115 were hospitalized as a result of the terrorist attack.

At the same time, the helicopters involved in extinguishing the fire in Crocus City Hall in the Moscow Region have completed their work. According to TASS correspondent, they are no longer involved in putting out the fire and have been sent to their locations. Fire crews are currently working at the scene as there is still fire inside the building.

A total of three helicopters were involved in fighting the fire. More than 320 people and over 130 pieces of equipment continue to work on site. The rubble is also being cleared and investigations are being carried out. The fire was localized to an area of almost 13,000 square meters.

A terrorist attack was carried out at the Crocus City Hall music venue in the city of Krasnogorsk near Moscow on Friday evening. Unidentified gunmen armed with assault rifles went on a shooting spree. An explosion rocked the building, starting a fire. The special services are conducting a search operation. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin canceled all mass events in the capital in the next two days, and a number of other Russian regions followed suit.
