Kursk Region’s border district comes under shelling by Ukrainian troops 11 times

The governor of the region, Roman Starovoit, said that there were no casualties

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops staged 11 shelling attacks on the Glushkovo district in Russia’s Kursk Region bordering Ukraine, the region’s governor, Roman Starovoit, said on Sunday.

"The Glushkovo district came under shelling by Ukrainian troops. Six shelling attacks were reported from a cattle farm and a tractor station in the village of Yelizavetovka. Luckily, no one was hurt. Five shelling attacks were reports from the village of Tetkino. No casualties or damage were reported," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the governor said that an air defense system was working in the Kursk district and called on residents to remain calm.
