MOSCOW, February 21. /TASS/. Net loss of Raspadskaya, Russia's largest coking coal producer, under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) amounted to $133 mln in 2024 compared with $440 mln profit in the previous year, the company reported.
Revenue fell to $1.72 bln in the reporting period from $2.2 bln in 2023 amid a substantial decline in global prices for coking coal. Operating loss totaled $114 mln compared with profit worth $519 mln in the previous year.
EBITDA decreased to $291 mln from $689 mln in 2023 mainly. Capital expenditures amounted to $294 mln, up from $220 mln in 2023 due to continuation of implementation of the company’s long-term investment program.
