BANGKOK, February 13. /TASS/. A7 and Novostal-M have announced that they are teaming up on a logistics company that will provide a direct shipping route between the ports of Bangkok and Novorossiysk, President of A7 logistical holding Andrey Severilov said at the FTI EXPO 2025 in Bangkok.
Once this link is established, cargo transport from Russia to Thailand will take 30 days, Severilov said. "I believe the most important thing is the ability to deliver goods. Logistics companies act as bridges for economies in this regard. Surprisingly, there is no direct commercial route between Russia and Thailand at present. All the goods supplied from Russia to Thailand and from Thailand to Russia pass through third country ports. This is bad for the business," the president noted.
"I am proud to inform you that the A7 holding and Novostal-M have already launched the new Thai Express project. The logistics company will operate a direct commercial maritime route between the ports of Bangkok and Novorossiysk. The first ships will start voyaging over it on July 1 of this year at the latest," he added.
The FTI EXPO 2025 is being held in Bangkok until February 15. Russian metal producers, IT companies and food companies are all in attendance at the exhibition.
