Price of Brent oil hits $74 per barrel on ICE first since December 4

MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. The price of futures contracts of Brent crude oil for February 2025 delivery has reached $74 per barrel on London's ICE for the first time since December 4, 2024, according to trading data.

As of 12:00 p.m. Moscow time (9:00 a.m. GMT) the Brent price was up by 0.65% at $74 per barrel.

By 12:15 p.m. Moscow time (9:15 a.m. GMT) the price of Brent futures contracts had slowed down growth to 0.34% trading at $73.77 per barrel. Meanwhile, the price of futures contracts of WTI crude oil for January 2025 delivery was up by 0.31% at $70.51 per barrel.
