DOHA, March 12. /TASS/. Vessels wishing to obtain permission to pass through the Strait of Hormuz must coordinate with the Iranian Navy, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said.

"Instability in the region, caused by the US and the Zionist regime, could affect vessel traffic, but Iran does not want the strait to become unsafe, and vessels must coordinate with the Iranian Navy to ensure navigational safety for passage," he stated as quoted by the Mehr agency.
