KAZAN, November 15. /TASS/. Russia and China managed to ramp up the trade turnover by 5% annually to $196 bln in January - October 2024, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.
"The trade turnover between our countries continues growing this year. It was above $196 bln in ten months of this year, which is 5% more than in the like period of the last year. The share of national currencies in mutual payments remain sustainably high and is above 90%, Novak said.
"The historical maximum was set therefore. Results achieved became possible owing to building up new transport and logistical chains, adaptation of payment mechanisms, and new alternative cooperation formats found," he noted.
