Russian companies making deals at Gulfood exhibition — Export Center

The Gulfood exhibition is being held in Dubai from February 19 to 23

DUBAI, February 21. /TASS/. Russian companies made contracts totaling 5.9 bln rubles ($64.5 mln) in conclusion of participation in the Gulfood 2023 food and agro-industrial sector exhibition, General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina told TASS on the sidelines of the Gulfood 2024 event.

"I am confident the exhibition will be the floor for the plenitude of business communications and successful deals," she said. "We made contracts worth 5.9 bln rubles last year owing to the activity at the Gulfood. As a rule, financial indicators are growing from year to year," Nikishina noted.

Russian exporters will hold more than 650 meetings with partners from other countries during the exhibition, she added. The Gulfood exhibition is being held in Dubai from February 19 to 23.
