"Figures evidence that the needed direction of development in decision-making by financial and economic authorities of the country was selected in general," the head of state said

MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The key rate of the Bank of Russia is regularly debated but economic indicators evidence proper direction of the national financial and economic policy, President Vladimir Putin said at the VTB Investment Forum "Russia Calling!"

"I know talks about Central Bank rates will start here now. Yes, such disputes always take place where there is the rate and the business activity. Figures evidence nevertheless that the needed direction of development in decision-making by financial and economic authorities of the country [was selected] in general," Putin said.

Decisions are being found and made in the proper direction, the head of state added.
