Ruble rate predictability important for Russia — Minister

MOSCOW, May 30. /TASS/. Predictability of the ruble rate is more important than its parameters, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in an interview with the CGTN TV Channel.

"Our rate has stabilized. We are now endeavoring that it becomes predictable also for participants in the foreign economic activity. From our point of view, the rate predictability is more important than its parameters. We are creating conditions for such predictability," Siluanov said.

The situation with finances is under control now, the Minister said. "We control currency flows from the country and stimulate in different ways resources’ bringing to the territory of the Russian Federation. In other words, our rate has stabilized," Siluanov noted.
