SANYA, August 4. /TASS/. A research center for big data in the field of brand communications is established in Sanya's Yazhou Bay Science City (Hainan), reported the "Sanya Daily".

The said institution was created jointly by Science City Management Center and high-tech company IFlytek, which specializes in big databases and the development of AI (artificial intelligence) technologies. This center, the newspaper writes, will become a platform for promoting high-tech solutions in the field of brand communications using cloud services, large databases, artificial intelligence, 5G communications and other innovative technologies.

Yazhou Bay Science City plays a leading role in the region's innovative development. By the end of 2020, the total number of companies registered in it amounted to almost 3,200.

Yazhou Bay Technopolis is engaged in scientific and technical research and development, as well as innovative manufacturing in the fields of finance, IT, space exploration, medical equipment, agriculture, deep sea technology and other fields.

This project is part of the Chinese authorities' program to create Hainan's free trade port. The local administration has approved the status of a zone for the development of new high technologies for this scientific cluster. According to the plan of the authorities, the technopolis should become a top-notch zone of economic development, integrating technological innovation and industrial production.
