Casualties in Gaza rise to 634 since March 18, over 1,000 injured

TUNIS, March 22. /TASS/. The death toll from the renewed hostilities in the Gaza Strip, initiated by Israel on March 18, has risen to 634, with 1,172 people wounded, according to the Palestinian enclave’s Ministry of Health, which released the figures via its official Telegram channel.

According to the ministry, hospitals in Gaza have received 130 bodies and 263 injured individuals over the past 48 hours. The statement emphasized that many bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, with rescue teams unable to retrieve them at this stage.
