US to speed up $4 bln in military aid to Israel — State Department

According to the statement, the administration of US President Donald Trump has approved the sale of weapons and military equipment to Israel totaling $12 bln since January 20

WASHINGTON, March 2. /TASS/. US authorities will speed up the delivery of around $4 bln in military aid to Israel, according to a statement released by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

"I have signed a declaration to use emergency authorities to expedite the delivery of approximately $4 bln in military assistance to Israel. The decision to reverse the Biden Administration’s partial arms embargo, which wrongly withheld a number of weapons and ammunition from Israel, is yet another sign that Israel has no greater ally in the White House than President Trump," the statement said.
