MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Warsaw has received a record tranche of 40 billion zlotys (about $10 billion) from the European Union after the bloc unfroze funds for the country, Development Funds and Regional Policy Minister Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz said.
"Four transfers from the Recovery and Resilience Facility have just been received. A total of 40 billion zlotys for Poland," she wrote on X.
The European Commission approved Warsaw's application for the transfer of these funds in mid-November.
In early March, the EC decided to unblock up to 137 billion euros from the EU budget for Poland in response to the start of reforms to ensure the independence of the judiciary in the country.
