The US Department of Defense wasn’t surprised by Russia's update to its nuclear doctrine, according to the spokeswoman

WASHINGTON, November 19. /TASS/. The US doesn’t see any signs that Russia plans to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters.

"We don't have any indications that Russia is preparing to use a nuclear weapon within Ukraine," she said.

The US Department of Defense wasn’t surprised by Russia's update to its nuclear doctrine, according to the spokeswoman. The US doesn’t see any reasons to change its own nuclear posture following Moscow’s decision, she said.
