TOKYO, November 16. /TASS/. Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya will visit Ukraine on Saturday, the Japanese foreign ministry said.
No announcements on the issue were made previously.
"During the visit to Ukraine, the foreign minister will personally convey Japan’s determination to continue supporting Ukraine and promoting tough sanctions against Russia," the ministry said in a statement.
Iwaya is scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrey Sibiga to discuss a broad range of issues.
