Israeli Air Force bombs over 30 Hezbollah targets near Beirut in two days — IDF

Israel claimed that Hezbollah was deliberately using civilian buildings as bases and storing its weapons there

TEL AVIV, November 14. /TASS/. The IDF reported the completion of another series of strikes against Hezbollah near Beirut. According to the Israeli military, over 30 Hezbollah targets were attacked near the Lebanese capital in the past two days.

According to the statement, the strikes mainly targeted the Dahieh suburb, a base of operations for Hezbollah. The targets included command posts, weapons caches and other military infrastructure objects of the Shia militia.

Israel claimed that Hezbollah was deliberately using civilian buildings as bases and storing its weapons there. The IDF assured that additional measures were taken to prevent collateral damage among civilians.

"These strikes were a part of the IDF's continued efforts to eliminate and weaken Hezbollah's military potential. The IDF continues to attack Hezbollah terrorist targets near Dahieh," the military said.

On September 23, Israel launched Operation Northern Arrows against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon, carrying out massive strikes on the movement’s military targets. On September 27, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah was killed after Israel dropped bombs on Beirut. On October 1, the IDF announced a ground operation in the border areas in southern Lebanon.
