BERLIN, November 11. /TASS/. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has responded with irony to the harsh statement made by US entrepreneur Elon Musk.

Earlier, following the collapse of the ruling coalition in Germany, Musk posted on his X page in German: "Olaf ist ein Narr," which translates to "Olaf is a buffoon" (with "fool" or "weirdo" also being possible translations).

"It’s an honor," Scholz said in an interview with ARD. "I don’t comment on tech billionaires. He’s not a head of state, even if sometimes it seems that tech concerns are more influential than states," the chancellor added.
