WASHINGTON, April 12. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden warned that Tehran will not succeed if it takes military action to retaliate for the recent Israeli strike on the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Syria.

"We are devoted to the defense of Israel. We will support Israel. We will help defend Israel and Iran will not succeed," Biden said as he fielded questions from reporters at the White House.

The US president called on Iran to not use force. When asked what message he would like to send to Iran, he said, "Don’t.".
