MOSCOW, January 8. /TASS/. Several explosions were heard in the Ukrainian city of Kharkov, city mayor Igor Terekhov said.

"Several explosions have already been heard in the city," Terekhov wrote on his Telegram channel.

Explosions thundered in the Odessa Region, the Obshchestvennoye news outlet said.

The air alert was announced in Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolayev, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy and Chernigov Regions of Ukraine.
