WASHINGTON, November 19. /TASS/. The United States, Israel and the Palestinian radical movement Hamas have not yet reached a deal for a five-day pause in return for the freeing of hostages, US National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson wrote on X (former Twitter).
"We have not reached a deal yet, but we continue to work hard to get to a deal," she said, commenting on a report in The Washington Post which said earlier that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a US-brokered deal that would see a five-day pause in fighting and free dozens of hostages held in the Gaza Strip.
Neither the White House nor the US Department of State has commented on the WaPo story to a TASS reporter yet.
