WASHINGTON, August 18. /TASS/. The United States has given its consent to the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by Denmark and the Netherlands, Reuters reported citing an unnamed source.

According to the report, the fighter jets will be sent to Kiev after Ukrainian pilots complete their training.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has already sent letters to his Danish and Dutch counterparts assuring them that Washington supports the move.
