Kiev’s hopes for victory over Moscow may trigger nuclear disaster in Ukraine — Kim Yo Jong

According to the North Korean leader’s sister, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is playing a dangerous game, gambling with his country

SEOUL, April 1. /TASS/. The Ukrainian authorities’ megalomania that they can defeat Russia could bring about a nuclear disaster in Ukraine, Kim Yo Jong, sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said in a statement published on Saturday.

"The Ukrainian authorities, seized with the incurable megalomania that can defeat Russia, are incurring a nuclear disaster threatening their existence without any elementary consciousness of foresight and any ability to cope with its ensuing consequences," the Yonhap news agency said citing the North’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

According to the North Korean leader’s sister, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is playing a dangerous game, gambling with his country.

"Zelensky’s talk about the introduction of US nuclear weapons and the independent development of nuclear weapons is a manifestation of his very dangerous political ambition to prolong his remaining days at any cost by gambling with the destiny of his country and people," Kim Yo Jong believes.

When touching upon the petition on the Ukrainian presidential website, the vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) said, "This is a plausible veil of the public’s expression of will, but it is not hard to guess that it is a product of the Zelensky authorities’ sinister political plot."

Kim Yo Jong added that the Kiev authorities "are not rivals of Russia," as they "always look up at their master and chant prayers of begging and solicitation."

"If they are focused on nuclear daydream as now, they will be a more vivid target in Russia's nuclear sighting," the North Korean leader’s sister concluded.

Russia has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Earlier, Kim Yo Jong had voiced support for Russia, declaring that Pyongyang would always "stand in the same trench, together with the army and the people of Russia".
