Bulgarian president appoints new interim cabinet

Galab Donev has kept the post of prime minister and all other ministers have also been reappointed except the culture minister, who has been replaced with Nayden Todorov

SOFIA, February 3. /TASS/. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev on Friday appointed a new interim cabinet that’s almost unchanged compared with the outgoing one.

Galab Donev has kept the post of prime minister and all other ministers have also been reappointed except the culture minister, who has been replaced with Nayden Todorov.

The outgoing cabinet, which started work on August 2, was dissolved on Thursday.

The dissolution of the previous caretaker cabinet and the appointment of a new interim cabinet comes after the president called fresh parliamentary elections for April 2. The current legislature, which was elected as recently as October 2022, failed to form a regular cabinet.
