MINSK, May 27. /TASS/. Belarus will restrict temporary stay of citizens in border area with Ukraine between June 1 and August 31 this year, Belarusian State Border Committee announced Friday.
"The State Border Committee announced informs that, in order to ensure border security, entry and temporary stay of citizens will be temporary restricted between June 1, 2022 and August 31, 2022 in Bragin, Loyev and Hoyniki districts of the Gomel Region," the Committee said.
The Committee explained that the restrictions do not cover people performing their duties, and protecting the border in the mentioned districts.
"Emission of passes to the border area [in these districts] is being suspended as well," the Committee added.
