Russian official warns West might plot false flag with use of weapons of mass destruction

The Secretary of Russian Security Council reiterated that Russia strictly followed the concept of the prohibited production development, the amassment and use of the chemical weapons and destroyed all of its stock piles

MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. The West, while accusing Russia of alleged plans to stage provocations with the use of weapons of mass destruction, has the same plans on its own part, Secretary of Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said in an interview with Russia’s Argumenty i Fakty daily.

"It is possible that the West has the same plans on its own," Patrushev told the daily. "The countries of the present-day collective West are the ones to have the biggest experience in the use of combat poisoning and toxic substances," he said.

"The Germans used them in World War One, Japanese used them in 1930s, Americans in Vietnam and I am not speaking here about chemical weapons’ provocations in Syria," he added.

Patrushev reiterated that Russia "strictly followed the concept of the prohibited production development, the amassment and use of the chemical weapons and destroyed all of its stock piles, which was later proved by specialists including from the United States."

However, the United States, he continued, has not yet destroyed its chemical weapons stock piles "resorting to all possible excuses to drag out this process."
