Ukraine’s Zelensky enacts sanctions against State Duma Crimean candidates, officials

The document includes names of 95 people

KIEV, October 5. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky enacted the National Security and Defense Council on imposition of personal sanctions against the participants of Russian State Duma elections in Crimea, as well as against members of regional election commissions.

"Enact the October 5, 2021 National Security and Defense Council decree ‘On implementation and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)," says the order published on the Ukrainian president’s website.

The document includes names of 33 candidates, both self-nominated and nominated by various Russian political parties, 54 members of Crimean election commissions, six Federal Security Council employees and one Korean citizen - a total of 95 people.
