KRASNOYARSK, February 15. /TASS/. The winner of the Russian Grand Prix of Figure Skating final, Pyotr Gumennik, did not expect to get such high scores on the aggregate of two programs. Short and free skating programs earned him 314.54 points (104.50 for the short program + 210.04 for the free skate).
"I didn't expect such scores, to be honest. I’d thought I would get far less. I was initially not very worried. I could calm myself. I coped with everything while in training. So I told myself I know how to go about this performance," Gumennik told the media.
"How to determine a team of participants in the Olympics? We should choose criteria and then summarize," he added.
