MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. All maximum air temperature values in different months are recorded in Russia in this century, which proves the strongest influence of global warming on the country's climate, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand told TASS.
"Climate warming is so obvious that all minimum temperature records were set in March more than 70-100 years ago, and at the end of the 19th century, and at the beginning of the 20th century, and the maximum ones were all set in the current century. This showcases the fact that warming processes are very active," he said.
Earlier, Vilfand said that January 2025 was recognized as the warmest in the world and past winter was the second in Russia.
