MOSCOW, November 21. /TASS/. Over 130,000 children directly or indirectly suffer from Kiev’s criminal actions along the contact line in Ukraine, says Rodion Miroshnik, Russian Ambassador-at-large on the Kiev Regime’s war crimes said during a briefing.
"According to the Russian parliamentary commission on investigation of crimes against minors committed by the Kiev regime, over 130,000 children suffer directly or indirectly from the progress or aftermath of hostilities," he noted.
The diplomat pointed out that "the Kiev regime seeks to exacerbate this situation as much as possible by methodically shelling schools, universities, lyceums and kindergartens."
"The number of educational facilities, shelled by Ukrainian forces, has already exceeded 2,000," Miroshnik said. "According to the Joint Coordination and Control Center (JCCC) on Ukrainian war crimes, in DPR alone, over 630 educational facilities have been damaged or destroyed since the beginning of the escalation in February, 2022. Several times as many are unable to operate properly and provide education - they were switched to remote education mode."
