MOSCOW, April 26. /TASS/. Russia’s National Guard has found several mined bodies Ukrainian soldiers in the Kharkov Region.

"While combing positions vacated by the Ukrainian army in the Kharkov Region, the National Guard’s special task unit found weapons, military equipment and bodies of several killed Ukrainian army servicemen and members of nationalist detachments," the Russian Guard told TASS. The bodies of some Ukrainian soldiers were mined.

During a search and reconnaissance operation, the National Guard’s commandoes found the body of a Ukrainian army soldier. Bomb disposal specialists examined the corpse to find out that it was mined.

"The Russian Guard commandos’ vigilance and competence prevented an act of sabotage against the reconnaissance team and ensured the group’s safe movement. Also, the guardsmen found a branch hut with bodies of killed soldiers. The entrance to the hut was mined. Inside, a large amount of weapons, including an antitank system Javelin of US manufacture, abandoned during retreat, was found.
