MOSCOW, April 15. /TASS/. Russia has paid more than 50 million rubles to Ukraine’s retirees and public sector workers over the past few weeks, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told TASS.
"The Russian Emergencies Situations Ministry continues work to issue one-off payments in the liberated territories of Ukraine," the ministry’s press service said. "More than 5,000 of retirees and employees of government-funded organizations received payments of 10,000 rubles over the past three weeks."
Payout offices work every day and payments are delivered to homes of low-mobility and elderly people, the ministry said.
The ministry also sent another convoy of 79 trucks of food, water, baby formulas and other aid to Donbass and Ukraine, it said.
