The president asked Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to report on how cooperation is organized with the foreign countries in the situation when a tourist is infected with coronavirus while on a holiday and has to seek medical aid there

NOVO-OGARYOVO, June 23./TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday called into question objectiveness of the official coronavirus figures in countries depending on tourists, including from Russia.

"We understand, truth be told, that objectiveness of the official data on coronavirus is of course on the agenda in the countries, specifically southern countries, where the economy strongly depends on tourism," the president told a meeting with the government.

The president asked Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to report on how cooperation is organized with the foreign countries in the situation when a tourist is infected with coronavirus while on a holiday and has to seek medical aid there.
